The Beers

White Water Wheat Beer

What it's like:
White Water is brewed using traditional German techniques, but without the traditional weizen yeast. The result is a light, clean taste that makes for an easy-drinking beer. The White Water name was not chosen to honor the famous Arkansas real estate but instead to commemorate a white water rafting trip.

Who it's for:
This is a good choice for people who are looking for a beer which has more flavor than a mass-produced beer but are not ready to  drink a beer with high bitterness and body. The alcohol content by volume is 3.5 percent.

How it got its name:
You may have noticed that most of SBC's beers are named after a feature of the Shenandoah National Park.  Well in the Shenandoah Valley you can go white water rafting, and it was after just such a trip that the name of the beer was born.  Note the brewer in the front right, sitting next to the president of Craft Beer Distributors.  If you look closely you may notice SBC's president in the back left position!
