Our philosophy for our food service is to provide you with simple but good food at a reasonable price. Sorry, you are not going to find a Chef Antoine and $15 entrees. Our entrees vary from $4.25 to $5.25 and consist mostly of chili and stews. See the current menu below.

While you are at the pub, you can play darts or foosball, or watch one of the three TVs with DirecTV programming. Generally, one TV will be set to a news show, another will be set to sports and the other will be set based on interest. Special events like the Olympics and the Tour de France that will be aired will also be shown - watch for announcements!

• Black Bean Chili $4.50
  • Vegetarian black beans slow-cooked with green peppers, garlic and green chilis in a mildly spicy sauce made with our Big Meadows Pale Ale. Served with tortilla chips for dipping.
• Mexican Brewers Chili $5.50
  • This chili is Mexican because it uses chunks of meat instead of ground. It’s a brewers chili because it uses barley as the thickener. Both are slow-cooked in a blend of five spices and our Stony Man Stout for a thick, spicy chili. Served with tortilla chips for dipping.
• Combo Chili $5.00
  • A combination of our Black Bean and Mexican Brewers Chili for the best of both worlds! Served with tortilla chips for dipping.
• Cincinatti-style Turkey Chili $5.00
  • Ground turkey and kidney beans slow-cooked in a savory mix of cinnamon and other mild spices.
• Meatball Sandwich $4.00
  • All beef meatballs, slow-cooked in a tomato and Whitewater Wheat Beer sauce. Served with chips.
• Children’s Meal $3.00

All food consumed on the premises is subject to Alexandria meals tax DO NOT remove beer, chips, or peanuts from the “TO-GO” area for on-premise consumption 15% gratuity automatically added to parties of 5 or more.

Beer service includes both draft ad bottled beer. You can get beer in either pints ($3.50) ($4.25 for specialty pints) or pitchers ($13.00). You can also get a 6 beer sampler ( 6 4 oz glasses for $6.50).

We have nine beers on draft as well as draft root beer. Our flagship beers, Whitewater Wheat Beer, Skyland Red Ale, Big Meadows Pale Ale, Stony Man Stout and Old Rag Mountain Ale are regularly on draft. We also have three rotating drafts. One draft is dedicated to the beers we brew specifically for Dr. Dremo's Taphouse in Arlington and rotates between Centennial Ale, Dr. Dremo's Brown Ale, Dr. Dremo's Ale and a seasonal porter. The other two drafts are dedicated to rotating seasonal and specialty beers that are often available only at the brewery. We also serve one firkin of real ale a week, tapped on Thursday night and served until it runs dry. The real ales, dispensed using an authentic hand-pull, will be rotations of our regular favorites, specialties, and oak barrel conditioned beers.
